Sarah Polvino is originally from Buffalo, NY, and is a graduate of the Steps on Broadway Conservatory. After dancing in the aisles during a performance of Mamma Mia! at the age of four, Sarah knew she was made for the stage. She began training at the age of ten, starting with hip hop, and quickly adding in ballet, jazz, contemporary, and tap. Sarah has always loved musical theatre, and performed in her high school’s musical for all four years.
At the Steps on Broadway Conservatory, Sarah had the opportunity to work with amazing choreographers such as Chet Walker, Joshua Bergasse, James Kinney, and Emily Schoen. She has been fortunate enough to work with Lloyd Culbreath and Dana Moore of the Verdon Fosse Legacy, most recently performing as the soloist in I'm a Brass Band from Sweet Charity. She has also studied with Steps faculty including Al Blackstone, Katharine Ponza, and Mindy Jackson. Sarah has trained vocally with Jan Horvath, Chris Drobny, and Paul Peglar.
